Alice B. Chittenden has assembled her 200 paintings of California’s wild flowers and will place them on view today in the Stanford art galleries at Palo Alto. The canvases represent the work of twenty-five years and include varieties from every part of the State, including the desert region, where she spent several weeks last summer, going as far south as the Salton Sea. The collection will be displayed till April 1.
